Tessellations

Tessellations are designs featuring animals, birds, etc, which can fill a page, without over-lapping, to form a pattern. It's the simplest kind of jigsaw puzzle: all the pieces look alike!
Totally Tessellated - A tessellation is a repeating geometric pattern. Examples of these beautiful designs can be seen in the mosaics of Mediterranean culture and the surrealist art of M. C. Escher. Totally Tessellated takes you on an exploration into the history and construction of a variety of different types of tessellations.
